Advice.. (Venting)

My boyfriend, and father of my child (19weeks) wants engagement and marriage and all that jazz. However my mother and father have both gotten married... and divorced. I'm scared of commitment, & marriage. I love him more than anything but I've been engaged previously and that obviously turned out horribly.
Another problem is... He says his ex gf started messaging him, but I know for a fact he messaged her first. This isn't the first time he's lied, but he's promised never to hurt me or leave me. But he vents and kind of complains about me to his ex..
Please help... I don't know what to do anymore and pregnancy has me so damn emotional.

In my personal life I learned that sometimes when ppl complain about people to cover up something like to make you think that they hate the person and would never be with the person just to cover up.... from my personal experience

Would you want a son just like him? Do you want him to be the standard your daughters hold guys to when they're deciding who to date? If you died would you trust him completely to raise your child?

Don't marry him the only reason he would complain about you to her is to get her sympathy.... good luck... but I am sorry, I don't think he is worth the pain you would feel if he got enough sympathy from his girl friend and something happened.
