Husband wants sex while pregnant...

My husband and I are pregnant with quadruplets and are 11.5 weeks and my husband really wants to have sex but I'm afraid it will hurt the babies and we have tried so long to get these babies that I don't want to hurt them at all.  Plus I really have no desire, I told him today that he could go have sometime to himself and do his thing, but he just looked at me all sad and said "but you do it better", lol. So I just feel really bad, will it do anything to my little ones because I know he reaches the cervix and I don't want to do anything to my babies.

I apologize for the advise I gave you. Having only had one child, I wouldn't know what it's like to be pregnant with four! I'm sorry for suggesting something the doctor would not have suggested. Again, congrats, and good luck.

I guess he just wants to keep me doing as little physical activity as possible, we don't want to hurt these babies or anything so we will just have to hold off.  Which is okay with me, I have no desire anyway.

I talked to my doctor and he said we can have sex but he wouldn't recommend it.  So we aren't going to worry about it, my belly is already huge, I think it would just get in the way anyways!  He said if we do we can only have sex until 16 weeks then he said we should stop.

actually when you are pregnant with multiples being on top is a bad idea. my doctor advised us to use side by side positions if we wanted to have sex. be very gentle and take it slow. fellatio is fine( providing you are okay with it) as is manual stimulation. you are allowed to have sex though. you actually will probably be told no more sometime towards the middle to end of the second trimester, so...if you are interested...well, now's the time. if it hurts stop, but sex is okay and healthy.

here i am 7 weeks  from my twins....sex is a joke. you'll be here much sooner. i wish i had been a bit less timid back when i still had a bit of grace. lol

Having sex won't hurt the babies. They say it's actually good to have sex while pregnant. I'm guessing it keeps the "u know what" more...open. Though, once you get farther along and your stomach gets bigger, which if your having quadruplets, might not be that far down the road, you might want to tell your husband which positions are comforable and not. Possibly being on top, so he isn't putting pressure on your belly and you can control the movements. Good luck and congradulations.
