I need some tips to help my relationship please:)

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year now, and I'm still akward about my body.
He finds I'm not affectionate and he doesn't feel as close as he did before with me, but I've always been like this. I want to be able to touch him and be comfortable with him. Any tips on how to work on this??? I love him, I just don't know how to start things.
Help:)

I would recommend counselling.

You don't have to disclose any details here, but is there anything in your history that might be contributing to this? Or is this just how you feel generally? Your answer to the first question may largely determine how best to handle this.

I guess the first thing you do is have to ask yourself what you are afraid of and why you are so terrified of letting this guy get close to you ?
