I met this girl at a library and ended up having unprotected sex with her. This was on February 4th, on the 7th she sent me a picture of a positive pregnancy test. It was a assured home pregnancy test. Not the brightest guy but I thought it took more time? She also told me she had a ultra sound that told her she's having twins. She did this last month. Do you think she's lying to me?

Hi there.  Ugh, that's scary isn't it. You are right, it would have been too early to know if she was pregnant after intercourse with you (from THAT episode anyway).  Therefore, she is either playing a sick game or looking for a daddy for her baby.  Both sad.  Buy some condoms and keep one with you (slip it in your wallet or something) at all times.  good luck

i know you must be wigging out right now, but this is TRULY A BLESSING AND A GREAT WAY FOR YOU TO REMEMBER the importance of NOT EVER getting yourself in this position again.

First, to avoid yet another unplanned for , and unwanted pregnancy because kids from those circumstances do not fare as well as those that are planned for and wanted by both parents and are truly disadvantaged youths in many many cases. So, for the sake of an innocent child, please make sure that you are totally in control of how you operate. Save yourself for the chance to be mature enough, educated enough, financially secure enough and after finding the right partner to advance on to having children of you own.

Secondly, a person never believes that they will be the "one" to contract Aids or Hep C or any number of STD's. but it happens, it's real, and it can happen to you. I think honestly if young people were to truly consider the real implications of casual sex, they might not be nearly as blind to the consequences. 50% of people have HPV which causes cancer in women and is undetectable for some 20 years. In other words, you can infect the love of your life, with HPV and she can get cancer (literally from your not protecting yourself with a one day/night stand). "Men cannot develop cervical cancer, but the HPV vaccine may prevent genital warts, anal cancer, and the spread of HPV to sexual partners. Gardasil is approved for males ages 9 through 26 and Gardasil 9 is approved for use in males ages 9 through 15."

So, my dear, this is a good post, and a great thing that has brought to you a new awareness that will lead you in to thinking about the right direction that you should be taking. For you, this new found knowledge is FREE, for her and her unborn child, not so much !!! You've truly dodged a bullet. Don't  forget the lesson.

And if you are a young person, please also, take into consideration how often all the above happens too easily when you a substance that takes away good judgement,be it drugs or alcohol or a combination. How old are you two?

Yes, she could be pregnant, but it isn't yours.  There is NO way you could be the father and there is NO way she is getting any US this early in her pregnancy.  If she is pregnant it happen BEFORE you two got together.

I recommend you not contact her anymore and don't respond to her if she contacts you again.  She sounds desperate to find someone to pin as the father for this baby and that is IF she is pregnant.

OR

She is desperate to keep you in her life.  I am guessing you viewed this encounter as a one time deal and she didn't.

You need to wrap it up every time especially if you are having sex with girls you just met in a library and if you want to avoid these situations and STDs otherwise you will have to deal with the consequences of your poor judgement and behavior.
