I really like him (which is "wrong") but it doesn't feel wrong... :(

I have a huge crush on my teacher and i think he might like me too but i don't know. He's a friendly guy to most students (smiling, joking, etc.) but he told me that i'm a deep thinker and he wants to see more of my personality. He treats me more as an equal than any of my other teachers which i really appreciate. I've been through a lot so, mentally at least, i'm not my age. Our age difference isn't much anyway... What do you think?

A teacher who has a relationship with a student is committing a crime and risking his career and possibly jail.

If you like your teacher, do him a favor and keep your distance.

Sorry if someone else wrote the same thing, I didnt read them all. But here is my opinion....
If you cant shake your feelings for him. DONT make anyhting of it until you are out of school, you both could get in alot of trouble. Also make sure you are both legal age..so its not concidered rape if it gets that far. It could simply be a crush becasue you compliments you.

kcalla,  read TTYL by Lauren Myracle.    It might be in your library, or it might be banned for vulgar content.  It's a quick and easy read,  written in instant message format,  for your age girl,  although many public school libraries have banned it.

The only saving grace of this book is it's a dire warning for girls like you.  This is the reason many school library keep it on the shelf,  despite the fact that it's vulgar and shallow.

You're zoegirl.  Read it.  You're her.

That's a hard thing to tell.. Teachers will often say things to bring otherwise shy kids out of their shell or to get them motivated to succeed... Just because a teacher compliments something you do or say doesn't mean they like you so it's hard to say how he feels.

It's understandable that you want to have a relationship with a more mature man (causes many less headaches for you!) but I have to agree that if you and he were to have a relationship it would hurt him more than benefit.  Lot's of girls have crushes on teachers girls at my highschool used to talk about their teacher crushes ALL THE TIME.   As long as its innocent and you arent anticipating making things go further then theres no problem with you liking him.  Boys are immature, but sometimes you get lucky and can find that one boy that actually has a few manners.  If you can't figure something out with someone your own age I would wait until you graduate and if your feelings have not changed for the teacher then maybe try going out for coffee or lunch, something innocent.. Get aquainted in the real world and see if anything takes off.. but like everyone else who has commented I would STRONGLY advice you WAIT until you graduate.. You don't want your teacher crush locked up :D

well, reposting is not going to get you new responses. dating a teacher is wrong. and if he's smart he'll keep his relationship with you completely professional and it's rather self-fish of you to expect more. he can lose his job (which if he got his masters degree took him AT LEAST 5-6 years) and be put into jail. do you REALLY want him to ruin his life? if you care for him as much as you say you do, you'll do the right thing and just ignore how you feel until AFTER you graduate. and just because he says your a deep thinker does not mean he is attracted to you. i had male teachers tell me i was very intellectual and a deep thinker as well and they weren't hitting on me.
