Is it possible that I could already be pregnant?!

My husband came home about a week and a half ago( 5-20-10), and we've been having sex none stop.. He already thinks Im pregnant, could it be? Is it to early to tell? My last period was the 3rd of May.. I know I could just go out and buy a prego test, but idkk if its to early or not?

There is a list of which pregnancy tests are best to detect pregnancy early. I am going through the same thing and bought over 12 tests but I am not technically late but think due to the activity we had and around the time I ovulated I might be pregnant. So I guess you will have to do what I am doing and suffer in quiet for a couple of days and make a doctors appointment to confirm pregnancy if we go past the expected date. I am 23 days for my cycle so if you are 23 or 28 just count that from your last and if you don't get it make an appointment right away or run to the nearest store to grab a little box. I was reading clearblue is one of the good ones and First response was the worse in detection.

yeah see I had a birth control implant that was takin out late april and after a week it was takin out i started my period on the 3rd. so its hard to know when my period is on time or not?!

I think it is still early.  When is your period expected?  Wait about a week after the date your period was expected and buy an early detection kit.  I didn't have symptoms of pregnancy right away myself.  Usually it takes a couple of weeks to get the hormone level that would make you "feel" pregnant.  But if you hit the time just right . . . yep, you could be pregnant.

It's funny how men can sense that their woman is pregnant. My husband kept telling me with both of our children that I was pregnant before I even took a test, or even thought I was. He was right both times.

Of course the only way you can know for sure is to take a test. Go ahead and get one and see and let us know! Good luck!

Well it is possible. You say your last period was on the 3rd of may, so that means you would ovulate and be most fertile around the 17th....give or take a few days depending on your cycle. If your on a 28 day cycle then you should have had your period on the 5/31/10 right? It sounds like your husband was around at your most fertile. Pregnancy tests are great these days, they can tell you upto 6 days before your period is due.

It happened to me. My last period was on the 13th of May 09 so my next period was due on the 10th of June 09, that meant I was most fertile around the 27th of June. I just had a feeling I was pregnant, so I took a test on the 4th of June and surprise surprise two blue lines. Even though I was most fertile on the 27th I actually conceived on the 24th.

I'd say from what you have said that if you take a test, if you are pregnant....it will be positive.
