My boyfriend and his family

My boyfriend and I have been seeing each other for almost a year and we decided to keep it low key because he has an extremely big family. I also grew up with his family but I wasn't really close with them, one summer I just started to hang out and gotten to know my present boyfriend and we just clicked. We knew that it would bring up problems but we knew that it was worth it so we continued out relationship.

But now his brothers don't approve of us... Any advice to get through the tough times or any ideas to what to say to his brothers to get them to understand?

Hi there.  Yes, I'm missing something.  Are you of different ethnicity or something?  Different faiths?  In the US, we do hopefully try to celebrate diversity and those of different races and faiths and 'whatever' are more welcome to be together.  But I know there are parts of the world that things like this are much more difficult.

So, unless we know exactly what it is that they disapprove of, it is hard to advise you.

Please provide more info

How old are You and Your BoyFriend?

and "We decided to keep it "low key" because He has an "extremely big" Family"  (I fail to understand what the SIZE of His Family has to do with anything?)

and "We "knew" it would bring up problems" (why did You KNOW this?)

and how are His Brothers verbalizing Their "disapproval"?
