I keep dreaming of my ex. we were together 4 years and we broke up back in febuary (roughly 8Months)
I just started dating somebody else & for the first time in a long time im soooo happy . for the past couple weeks though, i keep dreaming of my ex . it feels so real & all his/our old/current friends are in the dreams & every dream somebody always is talking about how me and him got back together. its really starting to irritate me because at first of course i was all heartbroken and sad but now im not . im actually happy and moving on with my life why in the hell cant i just stop dreaming of him !?

I will agree with Specialmom.

A dream is a dream; nothing more and nothing less.

Ive been around for a while, and i dream of all the tramatic events that have happened to me in my life, like college exams, ex girl friends and ex wives. I believe we dream of all the things that had an affect on us as are embedded in our psycy. Thats why we should not have seen monster movies when we were young as make a lasting impression on us. You should keep a journel of you dreams as writing them down during rem sleep will help you physicalize the dream and may help it from reoccuring.

Most people dream of their ex or other partners from time to time.  It doesn't really mean anything.  Your subconsious is just adjusting from the ex to your new man.  Don't think too much about it or read too much into it.  good luck
