Pregnancy Issue

My girlfriend and I had a rocky relationship.  When I started to pull away for a short period of time, she through out the "I'm pregnant".  Instead of helping her, I shunned her at the beginning because I felt I was being trapped.  She swore to me she was and we agreed an abortion was the best option for us at the time.  I offered to take her to the clinic, but she refused.  She even asked me to pay for half of the procedure.  Anyway, a couple of weeks later, she started lying to me about a new guy who "was just a friend".  She told me he was just a friend, but wouldn't let me see her on weekends.  She swore to my face that nothing was going on, but I found out on her facebook page that he proposed to her on Christmas.  She tells me she is going to marry him, but she is on her match.com profile page every other day.  I still love her.  My question is what should I do?  I don't really know is she was pregnant, but the idea of her having an abortion is killing me.  I have gone to church and we still text.  I even asked her if she would go with me and she has started to consider it.  She has also considered hanging out.  However, when I push her, she still holds on to the issue she is getting married.  What is the best thing to do if I still love her?

It seems to me like you both have some issues going on. Her saying she is pregnant, you not wanting it, agreeing on abortion, even offering to pay for it. It doesn't matter if she wanted the money or not. You wanted to have an abortion too. So, going on the fact that you don't know if she actually had one or not. You have to assume she either did, or she was lying and move on. Yes it hurts, that's a process we all go through when we make mistakes and then regret them. Remember it still isn't even proven if she had the abortion or was even pregnant to begin with.

Maybe she found a new guy because she cared for you and then lied about being pregnant to get you back, then you told her you wanted her to get an abortion. So... Maybe.. she found a new guy on a rebound, but then really fell for him. And Maybe the reason why it seems like she is leading  you on now is because she really cared for you in the beginning but you hurt her when you broke up.

Maybe this or that.... but it seems to me, like the OP's, that it is best to move on and forget her. There is too many issues here. And it seems that maybe neither one of you are really ready for any type of martial relationship. (not saying that you are wanting marriage)

Good Luck!

she has issues. i really feel bad for the guy she's marrying. or says she is. your best option is to get a good pair of nike's.....and run. run as fast as your legs can carry you...AWAY from her. the "i'm pregnant" thing could've been a "trap" to keep you and the money you put up for the abortion could have supported a good shopping spree. or she was pregnant and didn't want you to see it happen and went nuts after it. either way....the girl has problems.

I don't know how old you are in years, but you have some maturing to do before you even think about marrying anyone.  I know you feel like you love this girl, but honestly it sounds more like infatuation to me.  Please have some pride in yourself and kick this girl to the side of the road.  She is using you.  She is a liar.  She is a cheat.  Please try to love yourself enough to walk away before she ruins the rest of your life.
