Quick Question Regarding Return-ee

My girlfriend of over two years is coming home from Italy in a little over a week. She has been gone for what will be two months. I have had contact with her almost every single day for the most of the trip. I am wondering if it will be weird or awkward the first time I see her/spend time with her. P.S we have been in a long distance relationship for around 8 months but we were in the same STATE and also had communication every single day more than once a day, plus she came home periodically to visit, and I came to visit her once a month or so. Anyways, I really am the only one that can answer this question I know that, But I am asking what you think given the circumstances. I don't think it will be weird necessary as it will be more of a surreal almost ok I am getting adjusted to this again. I will be so glad to see her and be with her I just think for the first night or so it will be interesting and kind of like a new relationship starting all over again. Do you agree ? Or what is your take on this subject or anyone's take on it? Thanks.

Yeah, and basically we've already done this and I hope its not weird and hope you are right! I am probably just over thinking things through which I typically do. Thanks for your input!

You both should be excited to see each other again and probably will find it hard to keep your hands off each other.  But I think you'll be surprised at how quickly everything settles back to 'normal'.
