Rough facial hair.. OUCH!

This is random, lol i know.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever faced this, and if they figured out a way around it.

My boyfriend has facial hair. He has terrible teeth and is blond haired with blue eyes. He's 33 and basically, if he shaves he looks like a child... and it shows his teeth more which he doesnt like. my problem with it is that my skin is SUPER sensitive, and is we kiss, more then just little pecks, i break out.
Does anyone know how to soften facial hair? lol if it's even possible.....i told him to use conditionner, haha, but i dont think it made much of a difference. =P

i know what you mean with ther part idian thing, one of my ex's was half indian and... oh my gosh, he had so very littly facial hair, and it was all very soft and not irritating at all.

I'm not sure about this, but I was thinking maybe the conditioning (softening) treatment for black hair? Black hair tends to be more harsh then any other color, so I was thinking maybe you could try that? My father is part indian, so his hair is mostly soft, but also sometimes has a slight course texture to it. He used to use some kind of treatment although I am not sure what it is.

I was thinking those were probably the 2 options... lol thought i would ask anyway before even asking him to part with his beard.... he does love it (he's had it for...15 years?)  but man... having a rash around my lips is... well... lol unattractive, lets face it! =P

My wife has the same problem if I let mine grow for a couple of days. It's either don't shave and have a full beard or have him shave everyday. I have never found anything that will soften my facial hair.
