oops regret, ya get the point*
Alot of ppl get tattoos at all ages and reget them So we cant exactly go by age. And i doubt i will ever reget my baby's name so i think im going to get it...i dont know if you guys are understanding how small this will actually be..and its not going down my wrist but across it will barely be noticable. ANd i dont like chest tattoos..i hate and so does my bf, ankle tattoos. And i already have a back one.
Oh and I just noticed your age.....
I'm ancient, 40, and I look at the pics of me when I was 20 and cringe.....I thought I was so hip and cool. Just a warning that someday you may not be so crazy about the look you have now.
I will stop acting like your mother now.:)
Personally I hate tattoos, but that is for me, I'm certainly not bothered if other folks have them.
Visible tattoos are a no no in a lot of professional places, so you may be limiting your employability.
I like Rock's idea.
MIne is heart with a ribbon going through with my name. I am going to add Evan's name with a heart next to it I think.
well thanx ksanden. I am getting mixed reviews from ppl but i think im gonna get it anyway. I will cover it if i have to. And to laura..i have a small tribal on my lower back(its purple and fading..lol..i got it at almost 16)
Okay so we are talking about tats, so what kind of tats does everyone have? I have a little purple rose on my left should blade on my back. Got it 9 years ago when everyone was getting those. I would like to put my kids name on it or something, not sure though because I personally didn't like the way it felt getting my first one. lol
avas mom, i think that it would be cute i am into tats i like them i have a few myself i used to be a nurse assistant and a few of mine showed and residents always thought they were interseting but others that it was wrong. i didnt cover mine up. as long as it not like really huge why cover a name isnt going to be that long. also like you said you can cover it with a watch or something.. good luck.
ksanden
Well im not going to be nursing. actually it would Hopefully be in a medical office(no patients) its more of a billing/ins job..but in the medical setting. But what about me wearing a bracelet or watch? that would cover it...I dont know i just want it there because i already have a tat on my lower back.
Avas mom - a lot of places forbid visable tattoos. As a nurse, it would be about impossible for you to cover your wrists. You will need to be working with your arms a LOT!
Maybe put your children's names over your heart? (that's where your children live, anyway, may as well write them there!)
I would personally put it in a place that it can be hiden if needed. I have one but its on my back, that way if I want it shown I can wear a tanktop, if I don't, then I can cover it. Another nice place is on the ankle. Man you want it on your inner wrist? Ouch! :)
I have my name on my left shoulder blade. I am going to add my sons name soon. Its small enough to cover with a square band-aid if I wear a spaghetti strap to work. I think its a good area to get a tattoo b/c its easily covered.
