My husband was addicted to porn & masturbation for 27 yrs, we are married 30 yrs, He's told me that he hasn't masturbated in the past 3 yrs. It's hard to believe him because a few times in the past, whenever we havne't been intimate for 3 or 4 days, whenever he ejaculates, there is hardly any semen sometimes. He swears to me that he didnt masturbate in between but it's hard for me to believe that knowing full well that the longer a man goes without an orgasm, the more semen he produces. So is it true that the longer a man goes without an orgasm, the more semen he would have? I'm pretty sure that he still is addicted but he refuses to admit it. That's why I am asking this question in the hopes that someone can answer it. Shouldn't there be an increase in semen after not having an orgasm?

Thank you for the response. I kind of thought that. My gut is usually right. Only thing is, he told me that he would take a lie detecter test that he didnt do that anymore, he even called and it cost 700 dollars, which he said he would pay. So yes, i'll let him take that test to see what happens. Only trouble is, he once bought a semen test kit oer the net once and i used it on his underwear, well it came out positive for semen when we hadn't had sex at all,, yet he STILL denied it. I just can''t win. I asked him what is he going to say if the lie detector says that he was in fact lying, his response was, i already know what the answers will be because I didnt lie to you. He's put me thru hell literally. But again, thank you for helping.

Hi annete ! I am a man and yes you are correct men do get backed up . Ever hear of blue balls .I will also have to agree the last post the body will absorb the extra or there would be men out there dragging there balls in the dirt.That would still leave his sac full to the brim .So if your man is coming (no pun intended)up dry he has most definitly done something with it.I'm not exactly sure of how many times it takes but on an average I would have to say 3 to 4 eruption's will usaually empty a man's ball bag . So I would have to say he's been busy on the Pc dvd magazine something. I kinda feel like I've broken guy code here .SO I hope it helps ya out tell ur husband I'm sorry for throwing him under the bus!! Lol

(I am a guy but no doctor, so take this as my opinion.)  It is my understanding that the testicles can only produce and store so much semen.  If it is unused (ejaculated) it is absorbed back into the body.  

If one were to ejaculate, then have intercourse-ejaculate a few minutes later, obviously the volume of semen would be considerably less.  I don't think that proves or disproves anything in your circumstance.

Also, I'd guess that there is a chance that perhaps he just doesn't produce as much semen as he used to.  

That probably was not much help but I do think it makes a bit of sense.
