I know I'm very protective of my daughters...and it scares me everytime they're out late at night, particularly my youngest, now 20, who used to hang out with people in a not so nice area..we expected a knock on the door any night that they'd found her in a trash can or something...
We were in the Bahamas several years ago and had taken our oldest daughter (17 then) and 2 of her friends with us..we went on a booze cruise (yes they served them unfortunately) and at one time I saw some guy about 50 talking to my daughter..I stepped over and she gave me a "HELP!" LOOK...I stepped in and he gave me that "hey I was here first look" and said "you are talking to my daughter (very quietly) and if you don't get on the other side of the boat and STAY THERE the rest of the trip you might have an accident and wind up overboard...I'd hate to see that happen as would she"...he apologized and said something else and I said.."get your *** out of here now"...no problems the rest of the trip..

Lol I definitely agree! If it was just me in the car i wouldn't have been so mad, but that guy could've hurt my son, that's why i turned psycho b*tch on him!
I think its worse when we become parents. We are so protective.
Oh i'm so glad she's ok! I'm also like judy and mami that if something happens like that, i'm out of the car and b*tching like crazy! But usualyl i'll grab my cell phone first and be on the phone waiting for the cops to pick up while i'm bitching lol '
The worst thing that's happened to us was one night my hubby was driving and i was in teh passenger seat and my son at the time was 2 weeks old and this guy in this big white truck just guns it across the highway and hits us in the side! Our car was completely totaled and luckily none of us was hurt. But we called the police and someone called an ambulance because our car was hit pretty bad and our son was being checked out by the paramedics and i just went over to this guy and lost it! He could've killed our baby or anyone of us and oh i let him have it, it would've been a whole lot worse if the police weren't there telling me" ma'am, you need to calm down. Let us handle this" Ya the guy was drunk AND high! I'm still mad about that! Idiot should've got his license taken away for eternity!
I have a couple of situations myself. Not me driving but while Richie was driving. Some drunk guy in our cousin's neighborhood punched our car and I got out and ran up to him, screaming in his face. Then his girlfriend ran up on me and I backed her into a fence. See I wasn't alone though. The second incident, there was a car, yes a car full of deaf people. They swirved into our lane and they couldn't hear us honking our horn and so they side swiped our mirror and Richie had to swerve to avoid them. So they got out of their car first and started yelling at him basically saying it was his fault but they were clearly in the wrong and the fact that they couldn't hear us honking was worse. It wasn't until this young chick and her mom got out of the car and was in his face, that I decided it was time to get out. Meanwhile Jayden was in the car seat and he wasn't even one yet. I lashed out at the girl and told her that she swirved into the wrong lane and that I had a baby in the car and she yelled saying she did to but I was like well then you should drive in a much safer way...yadda yadda yadda, I almost went ape sh!t and Richie had to yell at me to get in the car because he saw me moving in closer to the girl and he knows how quick I can snap. I lose all type of composure when people don't own up to their mistakes.
Like yourself I am have a tempered and can recall a few yrs. ago a situation that I didn't think, just responded to. I has just bought a brand new car and two weeks later, on my way to work, I was at a stop sign and a young girl in a hurry hit my car from behind, I came out of that car fit to be tide and if she would have came out, I would have probably ended up in jail, but the point is that these guys know women are going to be pist and will come out to confront and there is their opportunity to hold a gun against her, force her in his car, but I'm a lot more careful on the road and not let my temper get the best of me or God forbid, make me a statistic.
I know, I watch that show also and within the blink of an eye your life could be taken. It's scary.
I've watched too many "Forensic Files" on TV where the young woman wasn't so lucky...which of course puts all sorts of fear into me if our girls are out..
Jim
yes, she's my niece but a very special niece, the daughter of my best friend, my youngest brother...I'd die if something happened to her.......she rushed right over to the safety of her dad's and his big arms to hug her and keep her safe...
Jim
Geesh, that's nuts. I'm glad she's ok. I guess she knows now not to get out of the car again if that were to happen. See I'm a hot head also and knowing me I would've gotten out also. Thanks for the warning.
I'm sorry, she is your niece (niece's are our daughters too :)
Wow Jim, that's a womans worst nightmare. Thanks for the warning and how scary that she did came out!!! Here in Chicago, if that happens it's a trick to get the woman to pull over and many times they have a fake police badge and the woman end's up raped.
I hope this does not traumatize your daughter to the point where she will be afraid to go out anywhere. She might need counseling. Thanks for the warning Jim...Judy
