first time having sex...a couple issues

i just had sex for the first time last weekend. not right away, but a day or so later, i noticed i had some spotting...which eventually went away. and then i became somewhat itchy and had a burning sensation down there. has anyone had this happen to them before? from what i can tell, its an allergic reaction, but i'm a little worried

It sounds like a bladder infection to me....I was told by a doctor before that when you go long periods of time without sex, you can get a bladder infection.....well and by your symptoms...I'm leaning towards a bladder infection, it could be an allergic reation as well but you should really consult in your doctor for the right answer...and yes spotting is absolutely normal!

If you used a condom you could have been allergic to the condom itself or some come with a spermicide and you could have had a reaction to that as well. The spotting is normal.
