i quit taking my birth control

when i started taking my birth control for the first time after my baby i had a period for 3 days and then i stopped taking it and a bout a week past then i started bleeding again for a day...it wasnt heavy but it was a dark red. is that normal?

What kind of birth control are you on?  Have you been on it before you got pregnant? If so then you were used to it, now that you gave birth to your baby your body changes so now the birth control may or maynot work cause your hormones and body changes. You should call your doctor and talk to the doctor about it.  Good luck!!!!
