So my bf tld his mom we were having a baby an of course she had questions like how far along an wat trimester I was in which was fine. Then she goes to say my ultrasound pic, the baby looks big like I'm further along an that ppl don't get ultrasound til there 4month. Them he says he think she knows wat she tlkn bout she had 3 kids. Needless to say her last child was 12 Yes ago. An ppl are getting ultrasound at 6 weeks aniI'm 10weeks an 6 days. Smh I'm irritated. Am I wrong?
Don't they have listed at the top how far along you are anyways? And the date the pic was taken? I thought all ultrasounds pics had tht
The.hospital did a different.type of ultrasound but still a.ultrasound at 5 1/2 weeks for.me. they advanced a lot in the last.12 years and if you have a ultrasound it.should say your.due date which will prove your.not.lying
Where I live most doctors do ultrasounds at every visit. It's a courtesy thing. The only ones they charge for are the ones that have to be done during pregnancy. So.. I've had an ultrasound at literally every appointment since I first found out in January.. I wish my phone would let me post a picture of the stack of ultrasound pictures I have. It's huge. And I found out at barely 6 weeks (I found out at the doctor and their OB happened to be available to do an ultrasound so I got one within minutes of being told about the pregnancy)
I have had three dip fat and I'm only 17 weeks, 4 months +1 week. One at 6 weeks to confirm, 8 weeks, and 13 weeks, my next one is at 18 weeks for anatomy. Soooo, what she is saying is totally irrelevant!

My step mom is the same way and not just about pregnancy. She will argue with a doctor or pretty much anyone. I would just ignore it. My first ultrasound was at seven weeks but only because I was in a car wreck. Then I had one at 11 weeks.
You get your second ultrasound after 16 weeks (four mos) and that's when they tell you what your having and they do the anatomy work on the baby, sorry it commented twice, but I went through the same thing and I know how annoying that can be lol
No that's not true. I got my first ultrasound around the same time. They give ultrasounds to confirm the due date and see how far you are because going off of your period can be inaccurate . Congrats and grandma just sounds like a hater lol
