nipple problem.

when my husband sucks my left breast he says its got a horrible taste but my right one does not what could be the cause.as its very worrying, hope someone as the answer,

You may want to see your doctor. Can you squeeze the nipple yourself and produce a fluid? This may be a sign of breast cancer. I don't want to alarm you but you should definately get it checked out.

I agree with sugarpea013, it is best to see a doctor. As she said breast cancer is a possibily as well as the fact that you can be lactating without being pg. So, get yourself to a doctor asap.

Defintely see your gynecologist.  It may only be a simple case of mastitis, but that's a bit unusual in a non-lactating woman.  There is a rare form of very aggressive breast cancer called Inflammatory Breast Cancer, or IBC.  It grows in sheets across the breast and for that reason, isn't picked up on mammograms.  The breast will discharge fluid, become red and swollen, and the skin has a kind of dimpled, orange-peel appearance.  All these symtoms (symptoms) are very similar to those of mastitis, and IBC is often misdiagnosed as such for some time.  Don't waste time speculating.  Call your doctor!
