period before Nuva Ring should come out

by kt12, Dec 12, 2007 01:13PM
I have been on the nuva ring for about 5 months now and I am suppose to take it out on Sunday (4 days away). I have already started to have some brown discharge and it is only Wednesday. Normally I will start my period the Wednesday after I take my ring out.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? It just makes me nervous. Thanks

This is why I had to stop using the NuvaRing.  I had breakthrough bleeding almost the entire time I used it.  Of course, I had this problem with any birth control I used.  Talk to your doctor and see what he/she recommends.  It could be that you are just not meant to use this kind of birth control.  Everyone's bodys are different.
