rejection

Humm rejection has always been interesting to me.  I was just rejected by a long time guy friend because of his girlfriend.  I don't talk to him much maybe twice a month and we don't hang out - it is usually how are u ect...  i texted him and asked what was up and he asked who was it, that was odd in itself, then he texted that i was nobody he wanted to talk to, REJECTION - humm i really don't care because I was not close close friends but i do feel a little hurt, like something is wrong with me, humm I really think it was his girlfriend or maybe he said that because of her.  
his loss but why do we as people feel bad when this happens even if these people are not close to us?  I t

I have had that problem in the past as well.  Where my girlfriend would check my phone and I had to get rid of anyone of my friends that were female.  It's crazy insecurities, but it was one sided as if I tried to do the same thing to her I was controlling.  Stupid isn't it!!

well i had some crazyness like this happen to me many times

First: i dated a guy in middle school so we went to the movies and held hands maybe kissed we didnt make it surprise but we were friends all through high school and still now...he started dating a girl prob our jr year she hated me and forbid him to talk to me we would hang out anyway or when they were off and she would get pissed. so then it became we were friends as long as they were broken up this lasted up untill this year...made me mad

Second: My Ex from high school moved to gremany then hawaii in college i visited him for spring break because we liked to catch up and he liked to keep in touch with me cause he had made most of his friends here i would keep him up to date. we would talk and catch up never mentioned a girl then my birthday i get bitched out by his girl he calls the next day says sorry and wishes me a happy bday...she continues causes tons of drama where she is calling form his phone and stalking me on myspace(because i was still doing a every few month check in call)... i still have not talked to him since my bday

I think it tragic that they are willing to do for their GF if my BF asked me to stop calling him i would have explained that if he had a problem with it then we wouldnt work out...most of my friends are boys so i wouldnt have any left...thats where it sounds like your friend is headed

i dont feel rejected...i just know they have their priorities out of wack

i had a really good guy friend dating back from 8th grade.  he and i were always friends (nearly entirely by phone) throughout the years.  finally, he meets this girlfriend and once they had been dating for a while, she gave him an ultimatum that he ends all ties with me or lose her.  well, we only talked on holidays and maybe once a month so it was goodbye to me.  even though i am happily married and still have a couple of close friends, it did hurt to lose my guy friend from childhood.  still think about him on holidays too
