Blue Tongued Skink-mouth wound, sneezing
I have a very old blue tongued skink, who is very very large. Lately we have been noticing that he has a mouth wound and I've read about it and found out that maybe its from a calcium deficiency, so I have started giving him the powder that you mix in their food.....hoping to see a difference soon, Also he has started sneezing a lot.... It is very hard to find a clinic that will care for blue tongued skinks in my area.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes regular vets can consult with an exotic vet via email or phone and still provide good care. I would recommend finding a vet who would consider doing that and then ask them to give a calcium injection. That is the standard treatment for advanced metabolic bone disease (a result of calcium deficiency).

Sounds like the sneezing may indicate a respiratory involvement as well.
