3.5 Yrs Child suffering from presistant cough and frequent fever

My 3.5 yrs old boy is frequently getting presistant cough acompanied by fever for the last 5 months . Ever time we have consultant doctor, we prescribes cough syrup and an antibiotic which usually cures the fever and cough for about 10 days, but after 10 days the symptoms of cough are back.
He has been getting fever appox every 25-30 days.

One thing I can think of is if your kids have been checked or immunological disorders? That might explain the frequent infections.
Either way, I think it is time to see a specialist if you aren't getting anywhere..
