7 year old with Scar Tissue on LUNG???

Anyone had scar tissue on their lung?  WHat do I do for it/ about it?  My son has it and I have to take him to pulmonologist but that's not till next week and I'm worried.  ANyone heard of this?  Or anyone heard of a child with it?  I just don't know what to do or think about this.  Any information would be really appreciated.

I had a 2 week flu when I was about 7 or 8 and I was told by my doctor in the 1990's that I had scar tissue on both of my lungs when I had extreme chest pain for 2 weeks and he told me to take non aspirin for the pain.  I don't remember the name of the flu.  I am now 56.  Try non aspirin for the pain.

my name is kristen once you have scar tissue there isnt anything to do for it i have two kids with cystic fibrosis this might be something to ask the dr.to look into my kids werent dignosed untill 5-10 years old even though you are born with hope this helps alittle
