After larynx operation symptoms

by mariska, Dec 14, 2001 12:00AM
After aproximately 2 years of suffering from hoarse voice and increased mucotics secretion in upper respiratory area I have had a miom (cyst)removed on the right larynx. After operation I was treated by local antibiotics and antiflogisticum.Voice cleared however after 4 weeks after operation I started to feel tension in larynx area and there is still mucotics secretion. I Could you please advise to me what kind of treatment/check ups should I require? Are there any special rules I should follow except avoiding talking first 10 days? How long does the treatment approximately take? Thank you.

This is a problem that is probably best handled by your local ENT surgeon. He/she will be able to answer these questions and help you with the best approach to treatment.
