Hello and hope you are doing well.

The normal range of WBCs is 4.3 to 10.8 x 109 cells per liter. A range of 11 to 17 x 109/L may be considered mild to moderate leukocytosis. If the values are progressively improving, then it could indicate that you are recovering from the infection. Also, it will take time for the count to normalize.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

If there is no evidence of persisting infection, like clinical symptoms or abnormal blood counts or imaging studies, then that could indicate that the person has recovered completely. This depends on the severity of the offending agent and the consequent infection.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
