I have asthma but have recently experienced asthma-like syndrom which I think is due to mucle tension. I get an asthma-like feel after going to the gym or when I stress. My asthma medicine which usually helps doesn´t help for this problem. I think it is caused by some muscle tension because I feel a short relief when I am ingesting a meal but just after the meal the problems comes back. I read in this forum that the voice chords can cause this. I have not yet tested this breathing training you mention. but I will. Is there other muscles in the upper body that can cause this symptoms? and can you use muscle stretching/massage to fix it?
