Asthma, Bronchitis or high BP?

by Edmonton, Apr 27, 2007 12:00AM

In a few weeks, I will turn sixty. I've been experiencing coughing, wheezing and short breathing for two years. Concomitantly with these symptoms, my BP, which is ordinarily normal, becomes dramatically elevated. I have been taking advair. Not only it helps me in coping with the COPD symptoms, but it lowers my BP to normal. However, the doctor who is taking care of me is more interested in prescribing BP medications than taking into account what seems to be my fundamental condition. What do you think? Thanks.
