Asthma/COPD and upper back pain

by cyclenuts, Sep 12, 2009 05:10PM
I have COPD and within the past two weeks I am having pain in the upper back (between shoulder blades).  The pain makes my breathing worse, but doctor tells me to relax and my breathing would get better.  It is a vicious circle - pain in back feels like spasms and then breathing gets worse.  Any advice?   Have heard chiropractor can help.  I've never been to one.  Opinion?

This discussion is related to back pain shortness of breath.
