Copd (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder)
Smoking and copd (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder). These tests were done at a university hospital. My allergist has repeated tests but thinks it is more consistent with Asthma.
Are COPD and Asthma related? Also, will condition worsen as time goes by? I am 58 caucasian female, history of hepatitis B which resolved with no treatment (possibly autoimmune???), Graves Disease, Pernicious anemia, Elevated Cholesterol. Although I have inhalers -- Seravent, Aerobid and Proventil -- I don't use as they increase my heart rate, my hand and body shakes and I feel faint. I do carry the Proventil and have used it on occasion but do not like using.
Thank you for any help.
