Asthmatic Bronchitis

I was just diagnosed with Asthmatic Bronchitis. I'm currently being treated. I'm looking for information about my diagnoses. Could this be a continuous health problem?

Asthmatic bronchitis is a common term for asthma, which is, indeed, a continuous health problem.  It is important for your doctor to tell you if he/she thinks your condition is simply the result of a short-term infection or if it’s a chronic asthma problem.  Bronchitis is swelling and inflammation in the airways of the lungs often caused by an infection.  With asthma the basic problem is chronic inflammation along with tightening of the smooth muscles that surround the airways of the lungs.
