Bacetrial Pneumonia in relation to TB

Tested positive for TB. Also had night sweats, fever, lethargy and diffuculty breathing prior to testing positive. Doctor prescribed INH medication for 9 months.  Does this mean more than mere exposure to TB on 09/07/03. Was hospitalized for antibiotic resistant pneumonia during Dec.,2006.
Could this antibiotic resistant pneumonia be an off-shoot of the TB exposure? Can exposure to TB weaken the immune system and cause bacterial pneumonia?

Not enough information.  Not sure what "tested positive for TB" means; positive skin test or positive culture?  What about the chest x-ray.

A positive skin test combined with the sweats, fever etc. strongly suggests active disease.  If that is the case, it would be most unusual to have been treated with only isoniazid (INH).

All of the above would suggest more than mere exposure.  It would suggest active disease.  The hospitalization for "antibiotic resistant pneumonia" in December 2006 plus the probability of active tuberculosis (TB) suggests that you may have an immunodeficiency state.

Even with a normal immune system, the answer is yes; the TB, if active, could have predisposed you to pneumonia.

You should seek clarification of the TB and the appropriateness of one drug therapy and further assessment of your immune status.
