Blood clots in sinus drainage
I have been battling a sinus infection which my PCP scripted azithromycin (zpac) for 5 days.  It has helped in the sense that my clogged sinuses are finally draining, but I am now spitting up clots of old blood in the mornings particularly from nightly drainage.  This also occurs infrequently throughout the day but is accompanied by "fresh" or bright red blood in smaller amounts as well. Is it dry winter air, a clogged sinus, or could it be something more chronic?  This has been happening for about 5 days now.
