It is very good that you are going outside to get extra oxygen. If you use the following breathing technique you will benefit.
- Deep Breath-in through left nostril keeping right nostril closed
then - Breath-out through right nostril keeping left nostril closed
then -Deep Breath-in through right nostril keeping left nostril closed
then - Breath-out through left nostril keeping right nostril closed
and repeat this cycle for upto 20  minutes twice a day(maximum 60 min/day).

This way equal amounts of oxygen will reach both parts of the brain.
Enjoy breathing and let us know how you get on.

I am just wondering what you have been tested for? Have you had a lung function test using good spirometery equipment and had them properly evaluated? These tests can determine many lung disorders, have they ruled out asthma or chronic obstructed pulmonary disease and what meds have been tried? Then there might be an infection of some kind causing the problem, have they performed xrays or scans or put you on antibiotics? Maybe you could have pulmonary embuli, are you on blood thinners of any kind? What is your saturated oxygen reading? All these things can give you the feeling of not getting enough air. Ask to see a thorasic specialist for answers as there is nothing worse than not being able to breathe.
Good luck
