Hi there, In April 2006 I was diagnosed with epilithial OVCA Stage IIIb, serous cell, grade 3, positive residue on the stomach, and CA 125 prior to surgery was around 2500, which normalized after third chemo. My chest report prior to surgery reads as follows: “…..There is a mass in the AP window which has a smooth convex lateral border. It is suspicious for lymphadenopathy or potentially a vascular structure. There are also diffuse septal lines and small bilateral pleural effusions, enlarged cardiac silhouette in keeping with pulmonary edema. However, given the history of a large pelvic mass, lymphangitic carcinomatosis should also be considered and clinical correlation recommended…...” My abdominal CT report, after six rounds of chemo, reads as follows: “……No hepatic, splenic, pancreatic, adrenal or renal abnormality is detected. No evidence of lymphadenopathy is seen. No bony abnormality is detected. The lung bases are clear. Restaging baseline study showing no evidence of disease……” It's now nine months since my first diagnosis and I'm having chest pain in the middle and am continually breathless and gasping for air.  Can you please enlighten me on what could possibly be happening.  Thank you!

With this history it is unwise to offer any suggestions based on what you are describing.  I would highly recommend calling your physician today to be seen and evaluated.
