COPD

When you have COPD can you get pain in your back and feel lazy. I'm 68 years old and really am starting to slow down and I really don't like it.
I also have Epilepzy and had a seizure a month ago and my Dr. God Love HIm told me I can't drive for 6 months and he is right but its driving me nuts. Can this just be depressing me?

This discussion is related to what causes my chest pain and back pain during minimal breathing?.

Peggy:
My mother has COPD.  She is 66 and has suffered with this for many years.  She's on 24/7 oxygen now.  Yes, she experienced back pain and felt fatigued all the time.  Have you spoken with your doctor about it?  I would suggest speaking with your doctor as soon as possible.  My mother was NOT treated properly for years and recently doctors wanted her to have a lung transplant but the government insurance says she's too old.  So, no transplant.  Please have it check ASAP!

And, yes, all of those things can cause depression.  Perhaps your doctor can prescribe something to help you start feeling better?

Good luck!!!!
