COUGHING UP BLOOD

HI,IM 36 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT IM COUGHING UP BLOOD IN A TWO MONTH PERIOD........IM A LITTLE SCARED.......IT HAPPENS AFTER HAVING SEX......AND IS NOT ORAL SEX JUST PLAIN SEX........WEN I LAY ALL THE WAY DOWN IN BED....I START TO COUGH AND I HAVE TO GET UP BECAUSE I FILL LIKE IM GOING TO CHOKE.......AND YES I AM OVER WEIGHT .......SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME SOMETHING .......HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS HAPPEN TO THEM BEFOR LET ME KNOW....THANKS

Coughing up blood isn't normal...have you mentioned any of this to your doctor? How much blood are we talking about...blood tinged sputum or frank blood. Some people who have hemoptysis (coughing up blood) are more prone to this while lying down. Either way, I strongly suggest you talk to your doc about this so that he or she can properly evaluate you as to causes etc..Sunny
