Cardiomyopathy and Pleural Thickening

by Donmelyn, Jun 28, 2009 12:24PM
Ok here goes this month so far I have been told that I have abnormal ekg's so they order a echocardiogram and a stress test they told me the stress test looks fairly ok. The echo showed that I left ventricular hpyertrophy with preservation of of left ventricular systolic function cardic dopplar and color flow doppler showing findings of a +1 mitral insufficiency and trace tricuspid insufficiency. Well I informed the doctor that I was having chest pain and shortness of breath, and what feels like cramps in my lungs.he ordered a chest ct that showed pleural thickening bilaterally in the depend portionsof the lung,it also showed a tiny 4.2 mm on the left lower lobe. the radiologist recommends a six month followup for the nodule. I have severe spine problems from my cervical to my sacral . I am recieving steroid injections for my spine and hips. I have been to to see a pulomonologist because my internist thought that after having my sleep study for snoring seen My Saturation way dropping down into the low 40's. That doctor ordered me on oxygen at night. Well my pain management doctor who is also a Anesthesiologist seen a copy of my chest ct said they would be wanting me to stay on oxygen all the time. What my question is could any of this be related? I just think this is kind of weird to all be found at once. Do you have any suggestions as to what it might be or what I should be doing next. Thank you
