Centribular Emphysema

by Amazed2009, Nov 06, 2009 09:54PM
Help - Just diagnosed with Centilobualar emphysema with pleural parenchymal scarring within both lung apices.  A focal small area of conglomerate reticular nodular densit is seen with the highest aspect of the superior segment of the left lower lobe tenting the interobar fissure slighly posteriorly suggesting that it most likely represent an area of scarring.  This is unchanged from the outside study and most likely represents the focal areas of nodularity described in that report.  No other inflitrates or effusuions are seen and there is no other significant pulmonary nodules.  There is no hilar or mediastinal lymphadenopathy.  Surrounding soft tissues and bony structures are normal.

HELP DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS???  I am going crazy - what does this mean.  Please help!!!

Mixed up and crazy me.....thanks for your response!!!!
