Chest Irritability and itchiness

Hi, I've a question that I've asked the Respiratory Specialist before but couldn't get an answer.  It's really bothering me a lot and has affected my life.  I know this sounds kind of strange but it happens to me.  I discovered the last few years that the air I breath out has the following properties: itchiness (sometimes feel like biting on the skin), sour, sometimes has a vomiting odour, dry, hotter than normal and causes chest irritability.  Throughout the day I'll have this pulling sensation in the chest and feel breathless.  Ultrasound of the heart, chest x-ray, ECG and CT Thorax are all normal.  I feel that the sour breath is caused by gastro reflux.  However all the pH test and manometery have been negative.  I feel uncomfortable in the nasal and eyes when my expiration is sourish as they'll feel like burning, the pH of the air is sometimes around 5 to 7.  The only reason I could think of is aspiration of gastric contents but it's been ruled out by doctors.  Other than this, is there any kind of disease associated with itchiness in the expiration?  Thanks for your answer!

Even though your pH test was negative, you're right that the most likely cause of your problem is gastric reflux.  Another possibility is that something is blocking the lower airways of your lungs.  Ask your doctor to take another look at the CT scan of your thorax to see if are any signs of something that shouldn’t be in your lower airways.

have you been seen by an ent dr....maybe its your sinuses

I've seen an ENT before as I have frequent sore throat.  The scope which he did for me is normal.  I don't have any sinuses problem but do have a lot of phlegm in the throat.  Sometimes I can even smell phlegm in my expiration.  However sometimes after a large meal I can have running nose.
