Chest Tightness and shortness of breath

I am a healthy 26 yr old male.  I exercise at least 3 times a week and run during the summer months.  For about 3-4 months I have had chest tightness that and shortness of breath.  The chest tightness is not in one specific area but across my chest and up to my neck.  I have to force myself to take a deep breath, usually by yawning.  I have been seeing a phonologist and he sent me for a chest x ray first and it was negative.  Then a full blood work up and a CAT scan, all tests came back normal.  He has me on 600 mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day.  In addition, they had me get scoped by a gastrointestinal doctor to make sure it was not due to acid because I have a history of acid reflux but that came back normal.  In addition, I had a spontaneous phnuemorthax about 9 years ago while at the gym, but the doctor ruled that out.  My doctor is stumped and put me on the ibuprofen because he thinks it might be Musculoskeletal.  Could it be some sort of over training ailment?  Do you have any other ideas as to what it could be?

I did look up EIB and while it could be that.  I do not only have the symptoms during exercise.  They are present most all of the time.  Excercise just inflames it.

Thanks for the helpful comment bhups1. I have been taking the ibuprofen now for almost a month and it has gotten only slightly better.  I have stopped running too because that seems to irritate my chest the most.  There is no family history of asthma and I was tested for that.  I do have chronic sinus problems but my doctor did not think that was causing this.
