Chest discomfort last 2 days

Hi, thanks for taking my question,

I'm a 25 year old 'social' smoker, with a history of anxiety. There's nothing wrong with my heart as I had a thorough check up a few months ago with Electro and Echo CGs.
I've recently been travelling a great deal and smoking quite a lot more than usual. When I arrived back, 72 hours ago, I noticed a dull discomfort in my right chest. This discomfort is slight and appears to have moved slightly down and to the right.
Since then I have felt like I need to take deeper breaths, have felt tired, slightly light headed and sick, with loose bowels.
I know some of these are classic symptoms of anxiety, and that is why I am unsure about going back to the doctor. Could these symptoms be related to the chest discomfort or do you think it is my anxiety? I generally feel worse after eating.

I would be really grateful if you could help me with this.

If this dull chest discomfort is continuing you will need to have a thorough physical exam by your doctor to find out the nature of the problem.  This could be related to your anxiety or it may have nothing to do with your anxiety.  A chest x-ray may be done to see if a lung problem is the cause.  A pulmonologist would be the type of specialist to tell if you need further testing to identify a lung problem and the best treatment to get you well again.

I forgot to mention that yesterday morning I spat out some mucus which looked like it had blood in. This hasn't happened since, my mucus is white. My ECG showed a 'soplo' (flutter?) in the mitral valve, the doctor said this was common and not a problem.

I haven't smoked since I noticed this.
