Chest pain with deep breath

by sciguy, Jul 23, 2009 05:37PM
Three days ago I started noticing pain in my uppermost chest when I breathe deeply. It hurts the most in the upper center of my chest but radiates out somewhat into both sides of my chest. On the same day, I began to get hiccups and they have persisted every day now. The hiccups last twenty minutes to a couple hours and are just relentless- waking me (and keeping me) up at night. I don't know for sure that the two are related but it seems like too big a coincidence not to be, as I've never experienced either of these things before.

Otherwise, I'm a healthy 28 year old male.
