Chronic cough, worsens by night, bloody nose; Diognosis please?

by Ainegue, May 20, 2009 04:41PM
A couple months back I developed what seemed like a minor cold, with a stuffy nose and a cough. Later I felt what seemed like a lump in the back of my throat that hurt when I swallowed. Cough medicine had no noticeable effect. I also had random nosebleeds, and an irregular amount of mucus in my throat and nose. The tickling in my throat got bad enough that I woke up in the middle of the night to spit cough and spit mucus, but I didn't have diarrhea or a fever.

All symptoms has since gone away, except for occasional tickling near my lungs. During the night, I get a cough, a stuffy nose, and mucus clogged throat again, and just yesterday I blew my nose to find my right nostril was bleeding.

I'm just wondering what this is, and why it's lasted so long.
Diagnosis please?
