Cigarette Smell

Lately I've been having a constant stale cigarette smell in my nose. I don't smoke (never have). When I drop my wife off at work and pick her up, there are usually some smokers near the curb, and plenty of butts on the street. I also work part-time next to a smoker, who's been reeking since the weather got cold. In fact, this is when the problem started, once the temperatures dropped. Even when I'm working all day at home, with the windows sealed tight, I can smell it, and I hate it. What gives?

i think its psychological- because you are so angered by sitting next to the smell all day you just cant let it go-- also potentially your wife walking through the crowd of smokers after work and getting smoke on her clothing could track some actual smoke smell into the house... but.. i dont know.. get some air freshners- its not like the smell is going to give you cancer

well, i'm no doctor, but it sounds like you are just reall sesitive to the smell, and if you work next to someone who stinks of it all day it seems reasonable to assume that you are sort of taking the smell home with you after sitting next to them all day.
