Collapsed Lung

by wheatley, Jul 26, 2008 04:55AM
Hi, i have recently had lung surgery after experiencing three spontaneous lung collapses to the right side. Bullectomy and Pullectomy where performed and I was discharged from hospital three weeks ago after x-ray showed full re flation.

I have woken up this morning with a heavy feeling in the top part of my right lung - I have no real pain and no shortness of breath. I have given up smoking and have been well since the op in May but do have a slight cold at the moment.

Is it possible for the lung to collapse after surgery?
