Cough since 1991

My husband had had a cough since 1991. We started out with ENT, in fact several. Operation on deviated septum, etc.  Then went to an allergist.....no luck....he thought it was in his head...then a pulmonary specialist and infectious disease. No luck. Went to Mayo Clinic.  Nothing!  Very productive cough coughing continously. Back to the pulmonary specialist and he got prescription from Canada - cant remember the name of the inhaler. Then an inhaler became available (Azmacort) that the specialist said would be just as good.  Not!  Steroids work but short term of course.  His cough kind of subsided on its own after about 15 years. then came back about 15 months ago. We did get a new dog. Not sure if that aggravated the cough or not. Tried 40+ different antibiotics. Nothing worked. Going to see yet another ENT. Hopefully something will come of that.

For cough:
make half a glass of onion juice and warm the juice,
add ginger powder and honey,
and drink it slowly.
This will help the cough.
Do not eat banana when you have cough.
Your feedback will help others.

Do this pranayam daily.
Build up your timing gradually.If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril  
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril  
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs.You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
