My husband, age 74, 250 lbs., 5'11" gets coughing spells that last for several minutes, several times a day and during the night. They started in December. He claims it's caused by Allergies, the result of mucus dripping down his throat, but I am concerned as he goes through a 20 oz. bottle of cough syrup DM twice a week. He has had extensive lung tests in the past two years, over $5,000 worth, and his lungs are healthy. Should I be concerned?
By the way, he has started a new WOE and WOE (Way Of Eating and Way Of Exercising) and plans to lose, at least, 30 lbs.
