Cpap and need oxygen at night

I am a 51 year old woman 5'7" and 160 lbs.  I am trying to understand why I would have obstructive sleep apnea and still need supplemental oxygen at night.  I have a mildly low red blood cell count of 4.13. Iron ferritin and b12 are all normal.  Also have some connective tissue issues. Can't find a dr to help.
