I had a severe stomach flu that made me quite sick.  In the ER they sent me for a cat scan to check for any obstruction.  When I received a copy of the report I was surprised to see that they noted,"Right lower lobe interstitial and reticulonodular infiltrate.  My questions are:  What is this and could the damage have been caused by the pneumonia I had as a baby and the  bad bout of pnemonia (pneumonia) I had in 2006.

Thanks for any help
