I had a collapsed lung about a month back. They inserted a tube in my chest and kept me in the hospital overnight. During the process they found a cyst in my chest from the CT Scan. I knew about this because 10 years back I had a stentAbdomen - swollen Brain herniation Chronic persistent hepatitis Coronary artery stent Hyperemesis gravidarum Lyme disease - chronic persistent Stent put in my heart and they discovered the cyst then. I don't know what caused my lung to collapsed other then I was at a reunion a few days before and had a few drinks (I never drink) and smoked a few cigars. My question is how do they remove a cyst if they have to? Where can I get some information about it on the web? Is there a special medical for this condidtion?
